Blues Review 2012
2012 was a pretty good year for Everton.
It was 12 months in which the Blues accumulated more Premier League points than anyone but Manchester United, Chelsea and champions Manchester City.
It was a year in which another Wembley showpiece was exultantly booked - and painfully squandered.
A year when one fan favourite departed for the Big Apple, and another scored a momentous maiden goal in riotous fashion.
There were memorable wins over Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham.
New heroes were established - Jelavic the assassin, Gibson the metronome - and the mercurial Steven Pienaar returned.
