    Arteta since his injury, Rubbish and clearly didnt want to be here, had to go
    Yakubu, well, erm, crap to be honest and a complete waste of a wage
    Beckford, not saying anything bad but couldnt cut it.

    Did moyes know these 3 were going to leave?, I think so, 2 very different players to replace Arteta and yak,
    Drenthe, Class act in midfield, quick, strong, great vision, very promising.
    Straqualursi, (cant wait to hear his name being chanted), Out and out goal machine were time will tell if the prem is too strong or not

    So is this very shrewd dealings on Moyseys behalf or the wool pulled over our eyes again, think the decision will be yours ?????

    What i really want to know is, do all the money go to the bank, or in "someones" pocket?

    i think its a good bit of business to be honest. Arteta's not been great since he got his new deal plus he loves an injury. Yak wasn't interested and Beckford wasn't exactly a team player and i don't think could cut it with the big boys.
    We've paid off some of out debt and kept the wolf from the door and got in someone with actual pace! Something we have been crying out for since Donovan had his spell. Remember what we were like as a TEAM when we had his pace?

    Yes drents is a great player. Skillfull, fast and can ping a ball and actually get a cross / corner in. But attitude is a hella lot worse than Balotelli. I really feel he and moyse will clash and very soon.

    Yeah i hate arteta going and yeah i agree not been as good since his injury but for 12 million???? Should have been AT LEAST double that.

    Double?? are you smoking crack? no offense jay but that is just absolutely absurd. Double 12 million for an out of form injury prone midfielder who is 29?? sorry mate but thats way off the mark.

    if he know plays for arsenal and rediscovers his form, people will have a go at moyes for not selling him for more money.


    Dont foget JUST LAST SEASON, arteta was linked with a move to replace fabregas for 25MILLION before fabregas gave arsenal another season.

    I reckon 10 million goes to the bank and we will see 8 million in January if we need it. Just an opinion. I think the bank will be very happy with 10 Million in one day!! Gets em off our back for a few seasons at least. So that is good news! I actually think we did a great bit of business yesterday!! COYB!!

    Exactly. One season later and he is only worth Half. Crouch worth 10 mill?? Hardley playeed for spurs in the last season, possibly two. Fab who arteta replaces went for 35 million and he is not injury prone and plays all the games?

    I still feel it will be a nuts situation.
