havin watched gibson over the last few months im more convinced than ever that he can't cut the mustard,he's just to immobile and seems to struggle with the pace of the modern game...just doesn't have the engine required to have sum gas left in the tank when he gets on the ball and makes a lot of bad touches and passes as a result..and as a r.o.i fan i can tell ya any player who cant get a place ahead of  glen whelan and keith andrews must be pretty poor...surely ossie down the middle is a better choice lads?

I think there will be a few people sitting, pointing and laughing at you right now....... Possibly the best £500k we've spent!

let's not forget lads, he says he's an r.o.i fan but that doesn't mean he isn't a Kopite, second post and all that, you have to wonder how Gibson cost only 14 % of Andy Carrols fee !

I'm pretty sure that there's someone on here whom I requested ejaculate into a sock and slap himself round the face with it....if you find him tell him Don sent you and ask can you borrow said sock.

It might be a bit harder now but should still do the job.

To be fair I was one of the 1s unhappy with purchase of Gibson, but for 500k I though id give him a chance and he has far from disappointed me. He is one of the reasons we turned our season. When he joined us he was just back of a long injury lay off and then got an injury again after playing 8 games or so and only really back again. Give the lad a chance. I think he will be even better next season once he gets a good pre season under him.

For the sake of completeness as I hate inaccuarcy, Darron Gibson cost 1.428% of the Andy Carroll fee, not 14% as indicated above.

    More as we get it..

Considering Ireland have only played one game since Gibson left Manure reserves, and considering Gibson was injured for it, I can tell ya this is a pretty shocking post!!
