From Moyes perspective (get off his back)

Okay he picked a starting 11  which looked slightly negative but still pretty strong considering there was still 7+ internationals in the starting 11.

He obviously made 6 changes hoping for a 0-0 draw or a tight game with one goal either way but bearing in mind we have a FA Cup quarter final at home to Sunderland can you blame him.

Moyes is being touted for the Spurs job, the Chelsea job etc but has yet to win a cup. He desperately wants silverware and sacrificing a derby really doesn't bother me as long as we beat Sunderland comfortably.

I thought we would get beat by Spurs and I thought Liverpool would beat Sunderland so the 5 point gap between us and the RS is still 5 points so really we haven't exactly been robbed (if you forget the first derby, cheating scum!!).

Either way Moyes tactics will only be justified if we beat Sunderland comfortably on Saturday, until then stop moaning I know it hurts but be honest beat Liverpool or Wembley?

Also I have a £50 bet with a mate that if we so happen to meet Liverpool in the FA Cup this year we will beat them, If I wasn't so skint I would of bet more because tonight we were atrocious however on neutral ground with a proper team we could destroy them little murdering diving scumbags (without clattenburg or atkinson)

so why do we have to accept losing a game, why cant we beat the rs away (and the worst liverpool team ive seen in a long time)and an under strength sunderland at home, is it expecting to much for the team we support to win 2 games. and not get humiliated by a pisssssss poor liverpool team.

It is a shame that on what is Moyes' 10th Anniversary we are reflecting such a poor effort and team selection. He has been a great manager and done an incredible job for use and I for one hopes that continues.

This season has not been his best and tactically he has been too negative especially in the middle of the park. We win when we play with one holding player not 2 and the problem is we have Felliani (our best player) plays there and one of the future stars. Also Moyes seems to use it as a position to keep his senior squad happy by pushing Heitinga there to give Jags and Distin games and Neville our club captain so Hibbert plays.

I think if he gets this right then it brings the strikers into the game through the middle and stops our dependance of the wings.

Lets hope we finish the season strong and more importantly start the next one before christmas.

Thanks Moyes for a great 10 years

an under strength team will lose to sunderland.....their one of the form teams over the past few months under O'Neill, and they showed against arsenal how badly they want the FA cup too.......just because they have 2 key players suspended don't be fooled into thinking it'll be a stroll in the park (they beat liverpool on saturday)......they have a similar fighting spirit to us, and we have to match that on saturday

Point is he started too many players who have not played 90 mins in months. Any1 can see that was wrong. If we beat sunderland in cup then fair enuf, but if we lose or get beat in replay wot do we do then? Season over........_FUCK the rest play the in form team and if people get injured at least we have replacements

i must admit getting to wembley is far more important than winning the derby. if we beat sunderland i couldnt care less what happend the other night. the only problem is though that the 3 nil is surely going to have effected the atmosphere and confidence at the club and that could be the sole factor that allows sunderland to a result

i understand what moyes did, i can see his point of veiw but at the same time it was very risky especially in a derby game (fair enough if it was bolton or wolves or someone but liverpool ?)

So why not rest players against spurs then, knowing full well beating liverpool at anfield for the first time in 13 years would surely give the team and fans a massive lift,

and 3 and a half days rest is more then enough time to get some rest.  we used to play 3 games in 7 days when we were in the europa league and handle them fine.

Not so.  We always looked leggy playing on the Sunday after a Thursday night Europa game!

awwFuck offDick head from Moyes perspective? Tuesday was an embarrassment that didn't need to happen and I'm near certain 90% of wools  don't appreciate the derby as they don't understand what the armchair kopites in the city are like.

It is inforgivable what Moyes did to every Everton fan on Tuesday.
His team selection gave the game to the RS before a ball was kicked and now he has put himself under extreme preasure to win against Sunderland.
Should we win the cup this year, and that will rely on Moyes not BOTTLING it again, then I believe Moyes will leave and Kenwright will miraculously find a buyer for EFC. They both want to say they won a cup while in charge of EFC.

Tony, I completely take your point. The wools and those from further a field can understand Moyes decision on tuesday a lot better than those who live in the city. Those who have to share their work spaces with more than their fair share of kopite pricks, etc. Pretty sure you've hit much of the divide on this subject squarely on the head there.

That said, you could always move to somewhere more civilised.  Look at Feeds, he's got horses, land and a small fishery going on now.... maybe you should follow him?

Totally agree with ToffeeCup and Ton (Kim Jong)....

I don't live in Liverpool......  Until you live in the city you can not comprehend what its like losing a derby.....

No point arguing about it, thats a fact!

Let's look at it this way:

    1. Plays full-strength squad
    2. We draw/win, coming away with a couple of key injuries
    3. MOYES WHY DID YOU RISK X BECAUSE NOW HE WON'T PLAY IN THE FA CUP
    4. We lose the quarter final.

Look. People's problem seems to be the selection of Rodwell and Jags without then having had much Prem football for a couple of months. But against Spurs we had Coleman, Jelavic AND Osman who had the same issue yet nobody has any problem with that, or even notices it cos we won. Hindsight is 20\20. But the point is, the team selection in the derby wasn't any more reckless than against Spurs.

I'm sick of talking about it now. Not talking about it no more!

Im sorry Sambo, i must have been in one of my "Pardon" modes and didnt hear too good, I dont remember saying anything of the sort, im still hurting, just ask my lad when i spoke to him yesterday. Im still feeling like shaite, hate every RS ive met since, sick in the pit of my stomach, and as for Moyes i wouldnt give him 10 more mins never mind 10 more years for the way he disrespected every true Evertonian on Tuesday, its unforgivable. Hope i have everything thrown in my face for saying this, as i remember well saying Kendall should have been sacked after putting Glen Keeley, a loan player of 2 days straight into a derby, got sent off after about 20-30 mins and we lost 5-0 at GP, so fingers crossed, history repeats itself.....
