for 4th spot now , lets hope we can continue from saturday , weve got to play all the teams around us so we have some massive games coming up, the 2 weeks break will be good for us give some players the time to rest and lets come back firing, spurs are pretty average i think arsenal are the main threat for 4th. can we do it and can the wigan defeat really get us up for the last 9 games.

edit: meant to post this in this thread

Its an odd one and only makes all those draws hurt.

That said, the Europa Cup isn't something that prem teams are
usually still in at this point in the season (well, not the teams ion
the CL pack at any rate) and Spurs and Chelsea have a lot of games to
play as a result...maybe the Europa Cup could do us a favour for a
    change.

Moyes hasn't done well against top teams away from home and will
want to put that right.... plus we play Spurs inbetween their two Europa
games and after both they and Chelsea have played both home and away
ties they then play each other.

I'm not saying we are back in the chase for 4th.... but it we can
win the next three games (stoke, a knackered spurs and QPR) we'll be
facing Arsenal and who knows... things might have swung around our way a
    bit!

while the pressure is off and no one is talking about us sneaking 4th we will prbably keep winning, then when we actually get in the top 4 Moyes will crack under pressure again. Really hope not . But he has never beat the RS , Chelsea or Arsenal away. It could actually be in our own hands if we where to beat those 3 and Spurs. COYB

you're best hoping for something realistic instead.  for everton to get the better of teams like spurs and chelsea in the race for 4th spot is going to take something miraculous from everton.  and everton haven't got that in them

realistically it will be hard for everton to get the better of teams like arsenal and liverpool in the race for a top 6 finish.  you shouldn't let one victory over man city cloud your thinking

get the better of liverpool? 3 points ahead and game in hand , got better of them last season, i know its going to be very hard maybe to much for us, but with 9 games to go we still got a shot at it, on our day with best 11 i fancy us vs anyone if we play to form, spurs arent anything special at all , arsenal are beatable as a lot of teams have proved this season, chelsea is last game of season they could have cup final or 2 to prepare for and if they have qualified for champs leage may leave a chance there for us. as for the RS they are poor but past results at anfield dont look to promising. and im not letting a victory over man city get me carried away, im looking at the form and results of other teams around us last weekend.

Spurs vs Everton game on Sunday April 7……..that game is nicely sandwiched in between Spurs’ 2 games against Basle……be nicer if they were away to Basle first, but still…..

Spurs have a tough looking month in april……they also play Man City at home, and travel to Chelsea & Wigan…..
