BBC said he was outstanding today. Was he?

Never knew the lad had it in him. Never know, could turn out to be better than Howard.

He was ok! You'd expect most PL keepers to save what he saved. His ability to come for crosses was poor

Think its his height that makes him hit and miss at corners but its true he was outstanding

i dont think people have given him enough credit for his performance today. made decent saves and is fast out of the blocks for errrr blocks. you gotta give the dude credit...he hasnt had any premier league game time really and he couldve easily spat the dummy. good job lad

his performance today was brilliant. its about time we had a clean sheet. he put his body on the line over and again. a cracking performance from a goalie we really havent seen before.

Now I've had chance to watch, he was definitely alert and quick off his line, I'm not sure Howard would have got to a couple of those. You're right about the punches though, couple of dodgy ones.

Great performance overall considering the game time he's had, which usually makes keepers prone to mistakes.

Problem is if he keeps playing out of his skin the next few games and Moyes drops him because he decides Howard is his favourite, I can imagine him being pretty peeved.

2 of his saves were outstanding yesterday....can't be easy being a sub goalie, but he did the biz yesterday

Played really well in a big game, he's a new keeper to the prem really, considering his Everton career has mainly been reserve games and carling cup games

He did well and deserves recognition, but his handling is not great and to be honest, his kicking is abysmal. He was very quick off his line and made decent saves, but I think everyone will be happy when Howard is back.
