In commentary about everton players bein right up for today....well ill tell ya what that crowd was immense....cheered like f@@k when we won a tackle/when we played a good pass/when we won a corner/hammered the ref for his s$$t display/sang like mother f$#kers the whole game/and took the roof off the place when we scored and at full time.....u lot were f in fantastic today give yourselfs a big pat....if ever iv seen a crowd contribute to 3 points it was today...im just sorry i wasnt there...brings a tear to an irish eye on paddys weekend and makes one rather proud to call oneself an evertonian...god bless u all

Where was that support against Wigan?

I'm in no place to complain, having not been there, but it's a valid question.

I think at everton the crowd really comes alive in games we think we shouldnt win..the crowd gets right up for it at goodison in the big games and not so much for the games we think we should win handy...i honestly think the crowd is the biggest factor in why we beat the likes of shitee united cheslki at goodison...why its not like that every home game is an arguement for another day....for now i just wanna give everyone in that stadium today there props cause they were the best home crowd the premier league has seen all season...IMO

So, the players can raise their level against top opposition and so can the crowd. But, it's the complete opposite if it's not a top team, on both counts.

If the crowd can't get up for the lesser teams and just expect a result regardless, why do we expect the team to do any different?

Good on ya wantin.......deus your dead right..its something that needs ta be addressed..but do it another day...we walloed in misery all week over wigan...lets enjoy today...and hopefully something might change for the next non big game......i honestly think we could beat barca if that crowd today turned up every single home game...i dont think people realise how much of an influence the everton crowd can have on a game....hopefully after today it will be realised

I didn't wallow or complain at all last week, I basically gave Moyes a pass as I was so angry I thought it best to STFU until I'd calmed down. Well, I've calmed down about as much as I'm ever going to and I'm still raging like I have acid for blood.

I think I'm doing well to be as calm as I am. Beating City has annoyed me more than anything tbqh.

The past cant be changed no point freakin out over it there is a need to move on.and i think today helps that process brings back that slender hope of 4th spot...but we need to as a team and a crowd keep todays performence goin from now till the end.....if our away games to come were home games id think we d have a real chance...but as it is its only a slight chance...but at least for now after today we still have something to aim for.....let last week go deus pal..you ll feel much better if ya just come ta terms with it...been angry aint gonna turn back time and change anything

Today's game was the first time in a long time we've played anything like well mate. As much as I'd love to believe, my brain has overruled my heart on this one. I'm out.

Like a man spending his first day on the outside after 10 years banged up, the pressure needed to be released. Only in this case it's been 11 years of nothing.
