Scott - defensively we've been awful, both in terms of defenders themselves and midfielders not doing their jobs as well. Allied to the fact that we're really struggling to score it's hard to see that pattern changing in the coming weeks. I hope I'm wrong.

it wouldn't suprise me if we beat man city on saturday but even so i still think our season is over.  it'll just be one game but then we'll slip up again.  no chance of catching arsenal and liverpool now

That's the spirit, Scott. They are all fit, apart from Jagielka and Howard. This match would have looked like a probable 3 points, before Christmas. The bad spell cannot go on forever. Everton 2 Man City 1.

David14- no chance of catching Liverpool? FFS, we are equal on points, with a game in hand. A draw against City and we will be ahead of them, before they kick off.

The bookies are offering just short of 3:1 against an Everton victory, the mugs. KTF.

Midfield and attacks have good moments still. It's about team play, let's hope we'll see the right players at certain positions.

liverpool have got momentum we havent.  theres no chance we'll finish above them.  our confidence has been slowly slipping away and now its gone

they've also got saurez who looks like he can bang in hatrick whenever he feels like it.  we can't compete with that

Tryin' hard to stay positive at the moment. Let's hope for a big performance and result tomorrow to kick-start things.  We know on our day we can take anyone.
