cant remember who i was talking to about it the other week, but, i said with regards our midfield, we are literally a none scoring team in midfield.....imo, if i was building a team, i would look for midfielders that can score, it takes the pressure off you striker is he knows there is goals on other areas of the team, Moyes goes for the exact opposite, i think in time mirallas will get us plenty each season.....but past him, you look at the rest ofthe midfield and think 'where are the goals going to come from'?? pienaar, gibson and osman be luck to get 10 league goals between them, and if we can see there aint goals in the team, so can the striker, and thats added presure for him even before a balls kicked on a saturday....add to that moyes hates his team to score goals, then we have a massive problem....!

David14 : i just feel that if we had cahill playing around jelavic this season we would be a lot higher up the league.

never thought of that, but i think you may be on to something. jelli isnt getting the service, mind you when he does he's off target.

should moysey give hitzlberger more of a go, maybe barkly?

Al least with Tim we scored a few goals from corners. All we do now is concede them.

    it's driving me insane too.

moyes is not stupid so surely he knows that felliani can't play as a support striker.  so why does he continue to do it ? it's either because he is unbeleiveable stubburn or because he is one hell of a negative @rsehole.  it's probably a combination of the 2 actually.

it's definately not because he is thick as f@ck

barkley should be given more of a chance to prove himself (maybe 45 minutes) cos what can you show in 15 minutes? but having said that he doesn't look like he is ready to me.  i don't see any need to play hitzleberger.  he's not gonna add any creativity to our side

it's true that everton's over all lack of creativity and movement plus moyes negative tactics are contributing to jelavics lack of form but don't discount the effect of felliani playing behind him either

playing felliani behind him is making a not very creative team even less creative.  it is crippling us

he can hit them. he can score from outside the box, and given our poor strikers he may add a goal or two.

wouldn't hurt to give him a go i suppose but he is a holding midfielder by trade

Siege mentality, the players coming out with all the rhetoric, really pumped up forthis one, desperate to win it for the fans, feeling expectant now were really going for it......great.....

    4-0 to City.... :-(
