he has marketed himself into a position....he's refused to sign a new deal for over a year now.....and he's openly said he's gone as far as he can with a club like Everton....

I know what you're saying but I think if he'd wanted to do it (for the money) a few years ago he could. Don't get me wrong - it's time to move on, and probably a few years later than he should have but I just don't agree with the people who claim it's just about money. Maybe I'm naive but I believe he genuinely has a huge affection for the club.

oh i'm sure he loves the club.....but the way i took your comment up, was that he could have left us in 2009 for a bigger club but he choose to stay loyal to us.....i don't think that's true, he never has had the opportunity to turn anyone else down........for me there is no such thing anymore as loyalty in football......not from any player, not from any manager....

probably similar until the last year

i don't go in for net spend theories

total spend is all that counts

Sambo said this too. I don't understand your logic. Net expenditure is the actual amount of money which has left the Club, to give the actual players that are available to play. If you do not consider the money Moyes has raised from sales, surely you must allow for the absence of the sold players from the squad, when judging him? Any business would look like a loser, if it neglected to mention its sales revenue, in its accounts. Please explain.

i'll try root it out.....i remember one of his quotes being something like.......anyone who knows anything about football will tell you Everton are a top 7, 8 club at best.......

this was about a month ago when we were very much still involved in the race for top 4.......personally i couldn't believe his negativity.....
