Whats this myth or illusion that we would get relegated with out Moyes?

He's not a God you know, he does a steady job with very little stress to move up the table and if we moved down it a little it isn't such a great loss from the boards perspective.

Who's to say some one wouldn't do a better job.

Moyes is god. Dont make me f_cking laugh.

I'm not so sure to be honest mate, whilst the youth of today expect trophies, I'm still washing the skids out from the 90's battles.

Martinez done a job on us today, moyes has proved he has no interest in youth, he will probably blame barkley for today and we wont see him again. duffy should have played, but as i read in another post, moyes has his favs so he has no chance. If he true to his word he already gone because he wanted to see how we done in cup and league before he signed.

I've considered that mate but I'd not want to go back to that just to give the kids the necessary slap across chops that they need. Not that I have a solution.

But look back to the eighties and what we did with a small squad back then

It was a different time with different standards. Whilst the 80's is actually only 20 odd years ago, in terms of the amount of foreign talent available at relatively low prices, the league is vastly different. A small squad now is up against quite a few other small but talented squads, and we're all taking points from each other, letting the squads with depth pull away at the top. We're at the top end of talented small squads, but it's still a small squad.

Why doesn't he play barkley? Wasted talent.
