Both tbh mate....like I said in idi's original thread...I don't think it's natural just my opinion..

    -----------------

I used to think it wasn't natural either but came to the conclusion that no, it's not natural, to me. But then I'm not gay. I'd say heterosexuality doesn't seem natural to homosexuals either.

    no...no they don't.

The rate both the gay couple and your friends as equal. They don't discriminate.

They then rate down your friends because the have children of their own. Two of them.

If the situation was the same...but your friends had no kids... and the gay couple had adopted two kids already... then your friends would have been next in line.

The fact is, that having two kids of your own puts you at the back of the queue.

Being black, blue, gay or an arch bishop doesn't come into it.

In my personal world yes it is .....however, the world is what it is and I live with it as long as they don't try inflict their beliefs on me....like religion and the PC brigade also.....

Sorry TC...PURE BOLLOXX...this was in the 90's when they were screaming out for couples to adopt..it was what made them think of it in he first instance...they were actually approached and convinced to go for it by social services.....then the PC brigade started to take over...and hey presto....

Well, you have your views on why what happened there happened. There are quite a few who would point to having two kids already as being reason enough.

Regardless of that, we are talking about the rights and wrongs of a same sex couple adopting kids.

You have sighted "the PC brigade" playing an overly strong hand in the selection policy at your areas social services. To be fair, thats not an argument about the rights and wrong of same sex adoption.

Its your own disappointment with the experience your sister had when she went through the adoption process with her husband.

For me.....someone asked would the child grow up to be gay ?....mynpointbwould be where would it's freedom of choice be based if it's only experience was of 2 dads/mums....would he likelihood of he child growing up gay be increased....IMO of course it would....would a " heterosexual " child not grow up gay ....chances are increased he/ she wouldn't.......

Not natural? Are gay people not part of nature?

Have no real opinion on gay adoption but if a gay couple could give a child a good life then so be it. I wonder what effect if any it would have on a child growing up with two same sex parents? If a child's development was at risk then I would not be for gay adoption but my gut feeling tells me that a gay couple would do a better job than two useless parents. Gay couples should meet strict criteria before even being considered.
