    Always a hard one....most people will say George Best but I'm too young....

    Ronaldo really only had that one truly amazing season (and a couple of good ones)....he became far better at Madrid.

    Of the players I've seen I'd say Henry because of what he did over such a long period of time.

    alan ball was fantastic, but it was a different era, players were not as fit or as fast..but he was a genius!

    Well u said from the start, but now your saying only really fast n fit players count....ffs.....

    A lesson for ya Spengs, watch the 1966 World Cup Final from 1st minute to last(extra time included) n tell me Alan Ball wasnt fit or fast, he'd still be a genuis in this era mate, his football brain was second to none....

    hmmmm...point taken howie, booby moore one of the greatest defenders ever but had no pace, just read the game really well...i would like to think they would of been the same players in this era..ok alan ball it is then!!! :-bd
