discuss - how to appoint a new manager

    with the possibility of Moyes leaving  at the end of the season, (in my opinion he is off if we do not get european footballl next season), how about this . We introduce a new manager now, as his number 2 so to speak. He'll learn the everton scene, get a feel for the club, get to know the players etc, but have no say (or very limited  say) in team selection, talks etc, until he finially does take over.

    Continuity solved.

    I'll even go as far as to mention a few namees I'd like to consider, Poyet, Di Canio, Adkins, Lambert all could do a job, but I am in favour of Uwe Rossler myself.

    Steve Round and big Dunc will be involved a lot I feel, and for that matter so will Phil Neville and players such as Hibbert and Ossie who have been stalwarts and will help the the new manager get a feel for our club, I don't think team selections will be too hard considering the blueroom usually predicts it 100% bar any knocks we haven't been told about e.g Fellaini against Oldham.

    I wouldn't want any of them managers you listed, Adkins is the preferred, but he's a RS.

     i think by now he must have had enough of the grind of managing a club without the financial muscle to reach the next level.

    how you go about selecting a new manager is another thing. do you get much choice. i can't see any reason for another manager of his quality particularly wanting the job.
