.....is actively getting on my **** now. i couldn't bring myself to read any of the **** that was undoubtedly posted after saturday.

i've supported everton for over 40 years, and as a fan living miles away, message boards should be a good way of keeping track of what's going on in and around the club and its supporters.

about 50% of the posts on here are transparently wind-ups, most of them not particularly any good. what galls me the most is that our club is generally seen as one of the premier clubs that has integrity amongst its players, staff and supporters. even the reverse snobs following my local team don't include everton when venting their spleen at the premiership. we are universally admired for the way we conduct ourselves at every level, starting with our manager.

to read some of the absolute bollox posted on here after a poor result, quite frankly, disgusts me. i suppose every club has its fair share of bedwetters, but some of the biffs who direct bile at players, at moyes and at the club need to get a **** grip. we don't buy success, we earn it, and we're fighting against clubs with massive resources who will STILL finish below us. i suppose its something to do with the "i want it now" culture where any setback is seen as an excuse to look for someone to blame, instead of galvanising 'fans' behind the club. surely to god we've proved over the years that we're different to the RS, or the glory boys who have suddenly become citeh supporters. circumstances dictate that we find our inspiration from adversity, and it requires a certain type of player to fit into our way of doing things. **** me, i want to win things as much as the next blue, but i'm not so much of a spoilt kunt that the toys will be out of the pram if things don't always go to plan.

    - We're a good club
    - We finish above teams with far more resources
    - Sick of people moaning after every poor result

Far too many trolls. We need a troll thread stickied listing them so newbies can know their Escla's from their Sambo's.

In need of therapy for 40 years I would imagine. Anyway, it is good to see you have eased up on your infatuation with Sheila for long enough to bother someone else.
