What our main rivals did in January

    West Brom; No one

    We got a young lad in for the future in Stonesy and loaned one out in Barkley. Also let Gueye, just a player for cover out on loan. So overall our team isn't too much different from those we're in direct competition with after this January window. TBH I am surprised we didn't move for a big player. Maybe could have done with just that one key player either in midfield or up front who would have contributed to some goals and won us a few extra points from now to the end of the season. 

    Ah well, bring on Villa! 3-0 this weekend with Jela getting back on the scoresheet!

    Its disappointing but not the end of the world......Mirallas (if he can stay fit) is like a new signing now.....shame the Fer deal broke down, could have been a big signing for us....

    I've been saying the past couple of days even with Fer or even Negerado we have a strong squad that has got this far against the opposition. Our opposition for champs league like us have done only small business. Our biggest threats towards 4th are easily spurs and arsenal who have done very little in this window mainly because like us we havn't really needed big players to come in

    Who would you honestly replace Fer for in our fully fit midfield? I don't see where he would have fit in

    that was for 4th, they have more chance of winning the carling cup than finishing forth lol
