I think Tony's got a good point. Why should Moyes want to stay here if we're being stagnant? If he goes, it's definitely down to the fact that Moyes has finally grown a pair and realised than BS Bill and his cronies are holding him back.

We've had loads of interest, so says Bill, yet not ONE of them were good enough? Aye..... Alright then.
No money? Sell the club you fool! Even if he doesn't put it into Everton, it'll line his back pockets, and we, with any luck, will also profit from a new, fresh approach with new ideas and ambition.

Where's the common sense Bill? And what happened to the two lads we were SUPPOSEDLY after in the window? Aye, all smoke and mirrors again.

I'm kind of liking the 'yeah let Moyes walk because the team is predictable and stale and then when we are fighting relegation it will be bills fault'

Not sure that thinking the club will do worse under another manager is a good reason to want rid of Moyes no matter what you think of blue bill.

Take a look at this....ffs, there is even need for a second page:

    http://www.manutd.com/en/Club/Sponsors.aspx

This is what football money is about these days.....TV rights in different countries. We don't have that, a global fan base, and our own fan base is relatively poor too. Or maybe you want the club to spend money it doesn't have... because thats worked out well for a whole host of clubs hasn't it?

Fair enough, maybe a super rich would be prem club owner might swoop in and lavish loads of money on us. But thats generally a tax right off and the economic times aren't looking that great for a global magnate to want to do that sort of thing at present.

But here is the real point for me. If Bill and his cronies were really as bad as some of you pillocks make out.....then the club, in its position of bearing being able to tread water, would be in financial trouble and it would more than likely have a new owner.

Maybe not a hugely rich one, maybe not the one everyone would want.... but whenever a top club is in serious trouble the sharks circle.... but your trouble is, on the ownership front.... that blue bill and his merry men are just not that inept to put the club in that position. They are effectively, too good at being businessmen to let that happen, not just to the club but also to their asset.

    Pillock??? For having an opinion??

Ok.... If thats the case why dont we all just settle for surviving each year in the prem?  Settle or what we have and shut up?

Why do we demand 4th? Why do we demand FA CUP???  Isnt that being a pillock, thinking we can get 4th with the resources we have??  Who has given us the belief we can get 4th?? THE CLUB HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Who has lied about buyers??? THE CLUB HAVE

Supporters havent made Bill say anything, he should have just shut up and got on withit.......

The way you have just said that puts it all in its place...

You have just said exactly what i thought a poster on here would...

I for one don't demand anything, since I'm not a season ticket holder. I go when I can though and I'll keep doing that no matter what. Even if we get relegated.

I don't know if Moyes or anyone at the club has talked up our chances given the resources.

But I think we're doing OK. Far better than any of us expected I'm sure!

Hope all the whingers are paid up.

Clearly, I'm not calling anyone a pillock for having an opinion.... just the ones who think blue bill is robbing the club blind, that he's a useless businessman who just makes mistake after mistake and doesn't know what he's doing.

The fact is, if he was that bad he wouldn't own Everton anymore. Everton just doesn't have the money to waste in the manner they suggest he does. Its a self defeating argument.... If Bill was as half-arsed as they make out.... the club would have been in trouble before now and been snapped up by some indian outfit known for selling spicey chicken or some such.

I don't think we are in a position to be spending loads of money we don't have.

Also, if the state the club is in was so very financially perilous then you'd expect the club would need to be sold at any cost just to prevent the current owners from hemorrhaging more and more cash.

Unless Beano you are suggesting that Blue Bill and his fellow shareholders should be awarded knighthoods for services to Everton for continuing you pay out good money after bad while they continue their arduous search, not just for any investor....but for the right investor... in the name of all that is right and good for the fans of Everton FC?

I'm not suggesting the club is in position A1 by any means. But for its position in the global football market place.... it could be in a worse position.

Everton do not conduct Business/PR well AT ALL!

More recent the FER situation, if someone told me that was all staged i for one would not be surprised or shocked...

I was 21 when Moyes took over...

I just think its a groundhog day every season at Everton...   In the league, cups, players etc... The striker situation HAS NEVER improved in the 11 years Moyes has been in charge..  He has done a MARVELOUS job with what resources he has had, but he has been paid amazingly... I just want a change now and if no one  can see that he feels the same, you need to get examined...

so hang on...what you're suggesting is:

    let the manager leave...
    get rid of the chairman
    get rid of the board...
let our best players go (as they will if moyes and co go)
    struggle every season against relegation....
if we're then lucky we may even get the venkys to take over...

and thats your blue print for success....??

FFS.. laughing ....i actually felt wee come out then !!

    genius ..NOT...

now I know why you stopped going to games....
