    apparently we were trying to off load him in january and bring in scot dann, deal agreed for dann but we couldnt go through with it as nobody wanted johnny , we needed to raise a couple of million which brings me to my point, if we couldnt afford scott dann for a couple of million why were we apparently offering 8.5 million for a player, and its no wonder johnny is struggling he probably cba now after the club tried to flog him

    he spent all day at families in liverpool waiting for us to flog johnny, deal was called off because we couldnt flog him. deal we be done this summer

    its not just the transfer free, its the wages mate, one in one out scenario with us........Johnny is on best part of 50k+ a week, if we cannot off load his wages, then we cannot afford to pay another CB 40k+ a week whilst Johnny sits twiddling his thumbs.
