Ross Barkley and Leeds

To be honest I've generally thought that this bloke is going to be our next starlet..... the next player to come into the first time....play well....really offer the team something new.....and....after a lot of arduous speculation....get sold for a **** load of dosh. The best case scenario....sorry if that sounds cynical.

He needs games... but he's a top talent so he'll be loaned out somewhere decent.....Leeds (so far so good).....Their manager raves about him.....and he's playing games and people are purring about him (even better).....then....Leeds even ask us if they can play him in the cup which although cheeky speaks volumes truth be told of how much they rate him.

Then he isn't playing any more, and he comes back.

    What on earth happened there?

is only 19 after all.......tough at that age to not wanna do what all your mates growing up are doing......

won't make it as a player though if he goes down that route......

I'm not sure whats happened but he's gone from hot to cold there very quickly......also, if he's not holding down a place at leeds... and Leeds must have a need there to be taking him... then I just can't see him breaking into our midfield next season.

Fair enough he's 19. But its not like he lacks size is it, how old will he have to be before he's considered ready, 21-22?

I just don't get it.... posted here to see if anyone knew anything about it.

There you might have the answer to your question in your very own thread. Leeds are not satisfied, that they're unable to use him in the cup run. So, they look else where and other way to bolster the squad.

Its pretty safe to say they didn't take him for a cup run....had they have done so it would have been agreed at the start. Due to his age he can only be on a months rolling contract, so its not like they wouldn't have ask in advance.

The FA Cup doesn't matter to leeds......they're away to Man City this weekend ......getting into the playoffs is their target.....

    Don't tar the City.

Plenty of local footballers have 'got there head down' & made a good living.

Also, scousers run successful business' across the globe as well as in the City.

    Talking shoite.
