Awesome, nearly started to spit out some lyrics with that tune.

Could think of more interesting things to slow down like that.

This is what football needs: video recordings that can pinpoint exactly what happened and a bloke watching them who is connected to the ref via radio. No need for any of that goal-line bleeping balls rubbish.

Probably not in so much slow mo....but couldn't resist posting some skating in this thread.... plus it contains one of the most painful hand rail related slams in history (had no feeling down the right hand side of his face for three months) at 4:40.

And also the slow mo of his front side lip down the 'El Toro' hand rail which became so famous afterwards and caused so many serious injuries the school it was in demolished it and put in something in that people couldn't kill themselves on...

Other than that its a rare thing.... an entire career's (boy to man) highlights in 11 mins... having said all that... it is more than a bit gay in its adulation/music....maybe its better with the music off.... but then you wouldn't hear his head hitting the ground at 10:18.... he was a widely adored skater though (hence the gayness), who really went for it..... We built a quarter pipe in Woodwork and had it in the playground, until the injuries started mounting. I wasn't very technical but it's great fun.

It was great fun.... I was fairly technical but that was back in the days when a skateboard had a tail and a nose. Lacked the pain threshold required for big handrails though. Its pretty much unrecognisable today though!

It's crazy now, the Playstation generation have transferred what Hawk thought was just for gamers into reality.

I didn't have the pain threshold either. Once or twice a week yeah, but if you want to be really good you better put in the practice and that means ****ing yourself up.

A lot of it's bravado but some of them may as well just be cutters.
