    I'm building a stud partition on the ground floor. Joists at the bottom are running perpendicular so thats good. Joists in the ceiling are running parallel and my wall is between two joists. I know I can install noggins in the joists but that means lifting new floors and floor boards to do this. Was wondering what other options I have? I can't move the wall to the nearest joist. There was an old partition in the exact place I'm putting the new one. I will lift floors if there is no other option. Cheers
