i was in alder hey last week with my little fella, he was getting grommets put in his ears and also getting his tonsils and adenoids taken out
was a proper buzz when a few days ago, he came into the kitchen because he could smell me cooking bacon, sausage and egg, the first time he's ever commented about a smell like -

i know yer, he's never commented once about the smell of a fart until the other day, 4 years old and smells are totally new to him, its boss that they've fixed it like -

Posts: 7,950February 13 Just thought i might mention im getting a new hearing aid March 21st, one that at last i dont have to take it out everytime the phone rings, mobile and landline. Puzzled ? Well the ear i have a hearing aid in is my only ear with any hearing, so when you put the mob or phone to the hearing aid ya cant hear anything, so i have to take it off to try n hear people, whacking the volume up on the phones, real pain in the **** like. Now im getting a H.A. that i dont have to; as the mob and landlines have a loop system on them.
Nothing like what these people experienced with the baby but im thrilled nonetheless... -
