Anyone got any experience? Worth looking into?

    -----------------

I'm going on a company course for this in a couple of weeks..... Will let you know how it pans out.

Suspect it's a big dose of common sense with get some self-esteem thrown in. But I'm always open to new things. Even when they're old things with new names!

Yes mate , had some experince there , I used this training to evidence some work I was doing with aquired brain injuries....

actually had some right good training days ,

Used the NLP to also see my self going through a particular rouitne , might be naff , however worked for me

I would recommend a course , suppose only as good as the trainer really

How long did it take? There's a course on Amazon Deals for a 16 module online course with 85% off the nearly £500 RRP, I'm just wondering how inclusive it's likely to be for that price.

I dont put too much credence in wikipedia, but found the following summary of NLP amusing: "The balance of scientific evidence reveals it to be a largely discredited pseudoscience."

Cripes.......sounds like a sect for that money. I must be on the bronze level programme 'cos we haven't paid anywhere near that.

Still the training budget has to be used up somehow and you must admit the title is impressive, even if none of us know what it really means!

what i find interesting is that part of the course deals with interaction with clients and such, which would actually require some linguistic implementation of some kind which would supposedly be "programmed" and then there is the other half of just picturing your goal and your relation to the goal which are just mental happenings with no need for new linguistic programming ... i think this can be the problem when people of differing opinions within the same discipline get together ... a family therapist, gestalt psychologist, and a computer scientist ... people like a family therapist and a computer scientist with completely different epistemological constructs should not be trying to mesh their work
