i dont agree he always gets stuck in and gives 100% wether we are winning or losing he cant play every game these days sadly as he is 1 of our better players defensively

your right he isn't talented  hes great at gurning pointing fingers  defending badly !!  personally i'd rather had a good player who has a off day other  than a waste of space all season

Alot of the time is 100% courses trouble, un-needed freekicks given away, bad passing and dont get me started on his inability to flow with the game play

Well with seconds on the clock and the loss all but confirmed he still ran down the line. He's poor but the others could still learn a thing or two from his.

You should expect that from your teams captain though... He has to set an example

check out baines' position on van persie's goal, then make some other excuse to have a go at neville.

he's a limited footballer, but he's OUR limited footballer.

Baines did the same for Agbonlahor's goal. Not gonna have too much of a go at him though because he's been great for us overall and ever since we lost Arteta every attack has gone through him.

if every team defended perfecly every game then there would probably be less than 20 goals in the prem all season

the centre halfs pushed 2 far up the pitch and therefore the fullbacks have to go with them.

moyes never wants us defending up the pitch as we dont have much pace in the team (defensively) so it was the centre halfs (or shiteinga!!!) that caused the 2nd goal by pushing too far up the pitch allowing balls to be played over the top or through us!

but if both full backs had pushed up, van persie would have been flagged offside and old whiskeynose would have been one rant nearer a fatal heart attack.

He would of been offside but at Old Trafford it wouldn't of been flagged offside

can't run, can't pass, players run past him like he's not there, and when he has the ball at his feet and faced with an opposition player with no back pass option he tends to fall over in a crumpled heap quite regularly. He has been a decent enough player for us in the past, but there comes a time for every player when he must realise he's not good enough anymore. No shame in it, and if phil doesn't call it a day, moyes must take responsibility, and call time for him.

He's no Messi, we know that. He may be limited. But if every other player on the pitch (especially those who have the pace, flair and ability) showed his desire, hunger and passion every game we'd be sitting comfortably in 4th or even 3rd place. I had seat very close to touchline yesterday and saw Mirallas pull out of a tackle that I'd have blasted a kid in my son's U8 team for doing. In a similar position I saw Neville give 100% in a bone crucher. If Seamus is fully fit I'd have him in. Neville is past his best but has the type of passion for the club that we're going to need for the last 12 league games. End of story.

    exactly mate,, well said.

People just don't see what he brings to the table cos he doesn't do a cruyff turn followed by a bit of maradona magic then deftly chip the goalkeeper after dancing round 3 defenders.....

nev can still do a good job in midfield when we are  stuck for players. but we know he isnt a first choice anymore.
