    This is what being an Everton supporter means. I have watched them for 67 years. I have seen them relegated and promoted 3 years later when they were promoted to the First division (and they have been in the top division for the last 60 years) and only Arsenal can match that. So have your ecstacy when they win and the sleepless nights when they lose,You are an Evertonian. :)

    Not Quite, but I did see Davy Hickson winning promotion. He still is my favourite player. Incidentally my dad brought me a big plywood cut out of Dixie holding the Cup when I was two.

    Can't be certain but I think that must have been in 1948 when the largest crowd ever at Goodison saw a 1-1 draw. Memory fades a bit when you get past 80, lol. I had just started work at Littlewoods at Crosby.

    You're bound to be our eldest member....fair play for embracing the internet. My da's 70 and couldn't switch a computer on......

    They should let under 8s & over 80s in for free.
