    we were not going to get back into it, however, when the game was stopped for 5 minutes beginning of the second half, why was there only 3 minutes added on?

    No idea. If I was a ref, I'd start a stopwatch at the beginning of the half and pause it for every substitution, throw in, free kick or injury there is.

    I'd also give indirect free-kicks for obstruction, like players do when they usher the ball out of play.

    Then again, that's probably why I'm not a ref.
