    that season we had him he was probably the best striker in the world, top goal scorer in the league and won golden boot at the world cup in mexico (the only english player to have ever won it)..cant remember how much we flogged him to barcelona for..probably peanuts? :-(

    Its similar to getting 20 mil for jeli now,when he hits form again I mean.

    Would you have took 20 mil for jeli toward end of last season?

    well to be fair we did win the league the season after he left, it would be nice to have had a goal scorer like him this season, all those draws could of been wins..oh well its all ifs and buts.. :)
