FACT: toffees have been top for longer than any other team

Posts: 2February 6 Did you know that the toffees have been reigning league champs for longer than any other club - bar none? Could be Man U will catch up this season but so far we're the only ones to have spent 20 years as league champions.
How so?
We were reigning champs at the start of both world wars - add in the years the league was suspended and you get to 20.
