people say he gives young players ago because rooney come through under him fact is he had to play rooney because of his reputation and even then he was on the bench far to much moyes does not like giving young players a chance

Did Akpan actually get released by the club or was it his decision to go?

I like Moyes but got to agree that,in his time here he has not brought many youngsters through to the first team especially considering we dont have any money.

Osman and Hibbert seemed to take a couple of seasons to get into first team.
Nick Chadwick scored a few times as a sub but never got a run of games(i know he prob wouldnt have made it)

Like Baxter,Gosling prob left because he never got consecutive games, even when other players injured!

We were all waiting for Rodwell to develop into a top player, but it never really happened for him through injuries and again in my opinion not being trusted by Moyes to play 10 or so games in a row.The only time he got a run of games was just before City bought him.How long had Rodwell been with us? About 4 seasons or so?

Duffy came in last season and i thought he defended well without being spectacular. Then he never gets a look in,why?

Connor McAleny is another whose come in done well when more established players like SAHA were not performing!

That brings me to Barkley who i think has many similarities to Scholes, great range of passing, direct with an eye for a goal.Yes he isnt great without the ball but neither is Scholes. What really annoys me is that Moyes would rather pay wages to below average players like Hitzlesperger and Naismith whilst overlooking talented youngsters.

Moyes gave Bily many oppurtunities before finally giving up on him,why not one of our own?

Im positive the fans would back the youngsters even if they make mistakes so come on Moyesy give em a chance

At last people are starting to listen

Moyes rarely plays youngsters yet invests heavily in youth.

This window alone we have seen him buy youth yet loan Gueye out.

And yet we are supposed to have a small squad

James wallace will be the nest decent player toleave and go on to have a reasonable career

we dont want players that have a reasonable career, we want players that are going to be good enough to play as a top 4 preimer league side.......

In fairness to Everton/Moyes.... sometimes these kids just let it go to their heads, they think they've arrived, that they know it all, etc.

Actions speak loader to people than words... so no matter how many warnings you give them, its the actual act of releasing them from the club that gives them the kick they need to get their_shit together. But getting back to any level below Everton does not prove Everton wrong. Its more a point that they needed a reality check to get them back to performing as they are now and wouldn't be were they sat day dreaming on the reserves bench of a premiership club.

Its not like we are offering anyone 6 million for Jose Baxter like Liveprool are Tom Ince is it?
