Posts: 24,216February 5 what are the best one's to get, spec, for games, apps etc, i dont have one, no little about them, and would jsut want it for browsing internet etc.... any help is appreciated :)

I have a samsung galaxy 7 tablet mate, basically means it has a 7 inch screen....great for watching movies in or on planes etc.
Cost £150 for the 8gb version but you buy a 32gb memory card for £20 to expand it.
I like reading books as well so it works lime a kindle too which is handy.
The only reason I got it was because it was free with a camera that I bought but its a great job. -

want it for games......apps and stuff mate, so bigger than 7 inch might be better.....i've heard they are decent though.... -

Posts: 102February 5 Depends how much you want to spend. I like the look of the new windows 8 tablets as you can use all the same program's that are available on your normal pc or laptop. I pads and android devices can only run program's from there own app stores.
For example
On the iPad you can get a watered down version of football manager
On the windows 8 tablets you can have the full version game.

3 and above are HD, although honestly mate, I see very little difference. Still, if you're going to lay out a few hundred quid, you may as well get one with HD, it's not like anything filmed on anything these days is is standard definition. -
