Everton 2012/13, 4th & Manchester United

It's the first time I experience so much talk of a potential 4th place finish, and at the same time there's something about it.

Manchester United, why do they have so few away fan seats available? They afraid that the away fans will help out the away teams? Then all the PL teams should have fewest allocations for man u away fans. That'd balance it. Anyways, no matter how few Evertonians are at Old Trafford, I wish for them to make the best of it.

How is our chances against Man U at the weekend?

well prepared is what it takes from the lads and us on sunday. Gibson and Mirallas are undoubtly fresh for it, that's a great thing.

We beat 'em with the same team we have today, add Mirallas on it, then what will happen! Fingers crossed!!! We beat 'em with Mirallas on the stands!!! And he's playing.

we hit them at just the right time - they have no need to win - lead the log by a mile -
we need the win to get the fans exited about something apart from who is going to win the leaugue -
the battle for 2nd to 4th is the big drawcard of this season - to make it more interesting we need to win on Sunday -
    big surprise Everton wins 2-1

Watching the City/Liverpool game it seemed as though they were playing a friendly, there was acres of space between the playes. We have been pressured closely by most of the teams we have played who have given us no space to manouver so I am a bit more confident for us against the teams who play good football. :)

I see your point, mate! Let's hope it goes in our way. Moyes will know what to do with the lads, how to make them feel and release them! Oh Old Trafford, we know the ground, here comes the blues! COYB NSNO

Last year the superb performance at OT came on the back of the horrible performance against the RS at Wembley a week earlier. The difference? Moyes was negative and defensive against the RS when they were there for the taking. Even at 1-0 he showed them too much respect, pulling Cahill deeper and giving Jela no support. At OT a week later he cut them loose and let them play. That's the mindset he needs to have this week. We're not used to saying it but we actually have quite a few really good players who on their day can hold their own against anyone. Let's hope Sunday is one of those.

Our best defensive performaces this season in my view were against UNITED and CITY so if we sort out the right back position and play DISTIN/JAGS then im more confident.VIC is full of confidence and if we actually have a go like last season then id take a draw.

"Man United haven't lost for nearly 10 YEARS when Halsey is the referee... so Everton fans won't be too pleased to know who's in charge on Sunday!"
