Feels good so far... even if it is tempting to have a drink at certain times.
The house is still fairly well stocked with Christmas booze too. I'd say the only drinks not readily available at present would be lager, ginger wine, sherry and bourbon. There is a fairly decent supply of everything else.
Still, I'm committed to it. Annually. Your liver can regrow itself in 6 weeks.

Posts: 3,001February 4 I'm not saying I won't be back on it... and I'm not saying that I don't sometimes drink daily.
Its just that we are creatures of habit, so once a year I give my liver a full six weeks off... going back to it you tend only to have a drink of a weekend.... and then you can get into the habit of drinking in mid week too.... and then there is a blow out at Christmas. At which point I calm it down for a couple of weeks.... and then give it 6 weeks off.
Also, if you can't go 6 weeks without it.... you have a problem in my book. But mainly, it gives the liver a chance to clear the decks so to speak.
