We still have a chance of the top 4, a big one!

Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal all still have European games to come. We've still got to play all 3 away so hopefully we can catch them on the back of a long trip abroad somewhere and live up to our usual big game performances. Add to the fact Arsenal and Chelsea still have FA Cup games to play too (and Chelsea have replays which they could do without). That has the makings of some very tired squads. Now I know our squad isn't huge but what we do have is first-team quality, a determined team, consistency, a strong dressing room atmosphere and more importantly a brilliant manager. At Chelsea and Arsenal, there are too many people calling for the manager's heads which upsets atmosphere's of the fans and the players. So it's time for us to kick on now and make our break for the top 4! COYB!

If you think about it, Chelsea are in free-fall at the moment, Spurs blow hot and cold (didn't the Sky reporter say it was their first win since New Years? Might be wrong) so IN THEORY, we're in with a very small chance of Top 3. However, we've got to start picking the wins up. Although, I'll take a draw on Sunday right now. It's not beyond the realms of possibility, either a draw against Utd or the Top 3 spot.

Spurs also without a recognised striker.... if that walt Popov hadnt got sent off yesterday the outcome might have been very different.

Frustrating that with all the ifs and buts of all the draws we've had this season we should really be clear 3rd. But it is what it is and lack of cutting edge in the final third for the majority of this season may cost us. Nevertheless it's not over till the fat lady sings! Let's be positive about it, get the atmosphere's going and hopefully thing's fall for us. It can happen.

and what about us?......we just failed to beat Aston Villa & Southampton......2 teams fighting relegation......

facts are its a poor standard this season.....for that reason we still have a chance, but our poor defense this season is gonna cost us....maybe saturdays mess will now lead to us being a bit more defensive, think it'll be awhile before we see Heitinga again.....
