    taking off Mirallas was a smart call believe it or not.....

    Moyes would have planned before the game to give Mirallas 60-65 mins only, just like midweek....and then bring him off.....he's still just getting back from a long term injury.

    you can't let the score of the match sway you from making the right decision long term for a key player

    Exact reason why I tend not to come directly after these games but I'm in the middle of taking a dump so thought I might as well read some sh¡t at the same time.

    Wasnt Moyes fault to day, it was just poor defending , pure and simple. Im not just going to single out Heitinga who was dreadful, but Distin was also awful today. Its not what you expect from him but not only was his defending bad, but what i did expect from him was the norm, and i got it. He gets away with his excellent defending usually but the man cant head a ball, clearances absoloutly pointless either to no one, too soft or straight to the opposition and as for his passing, well that Boyd fella failed his medical coz of bad eyesight, Distin would be talking to the hat stand never mind the optitian or looking at the eye test board.

    phil neville was there available for right back.
    hes been the no.1 right back for a long time now.
    tony hibbert aint so hot and coleman certainly aint as good as neville defending at right back,
    coleman great going forward but can be all over the place when defending hes still learning. so yes i believe the best right back was available today.bristol

    how do you know he is 100%?  I thought it was pathetic when Goodison booed when Moyes took him off.  I don't want to see him injure the hamstring again.. we need him for the rest of the campaign.

    Did he have a full strength squad to select from with no injuries, especially at right back ?  No  .......did you state that he did ...... Yes!

    Does he make mistakes ?  yes, Johnny H wrong IMHO  (no-ones perfect)

    Is he clueless ? 10 years of evidence states not

    would we be in a better position if you did his job?     ........................... ?  Are you deluded? 

    I agree that his selections for yesterday's game were not the best, but your opening statement is both inaccurate and frankly an insult to one of the clubs greatest assets. 

    who do you think we could bring in to replace him that would do a better long term job, that would actually sign on the dotted line knowing the budget restrictions here ?
