Thats it all done and dusted think we missed out on improving the depth of strength of the squad today. Lets hope our boys have better luck with injuries in the 2nd half of the season :-(

Always been a big fan of transfer deadline day so was looking forward to tonights action. Disappointed with the window as a whole but the only plus is that the teams around us ain't done much either. So guessing its time to focus on saturday and the villa game, come on you blues

I wouldn't of minded as much but they gave us false hope with the whole Fer and Negredo stories.

I thought we showed the ambition require for a top 4 team when we went in for Negrado but even I know that Chelsea or Arsenal are his most likeliest of destinations considering Sevilla value him at at least 16-20 mil. Nagredo's wages must be around 100,000 so unless we have more money than suspected we could never afford him- but damn he would have been a nice addition. I said in an earlier thread that I thought Moyes would avail a loan signing on 2 but I guess the quality he was looking for was not available.. Stones will be a good player in time but who knows Moyes might actually thurs a young player into the fold.

really disappointed. especially after the Fer deal as we had a bitta cash to spend. I feel we needed a bit of steel in the middle to push us on for the 4th spot. Good to see us get a right back though, its  a position we need to strenthen but i feel with our small squad and too many draws we will fall short of 4th this year. 6th for us i think

I still believe the Fer deal was never going to happen, neither the Negrado deal. They are trying to show Moyes that they are willing to spend but they never had the money. I expect Moyes to leave at the end of this season, if not before. We are now 1 injury away from non-european football.

-----------------</ we dont have a good squad we have a good starting 11 anyone who has to play neville in centre midfield doesnt have a good squad, we have players playing out of position constantly we have very few players who look capable of pushing for a place in the first 11 thats not a good squad

But we have a few injuries that are coming back, when their in we have a very good first team, if some of the other players step we have a good squad. I agree Neville is not best at DM but I still think he's a good leader, even if that's off the pitch it's a bonus.

if jelavic is off form we have nobody who looks like scoring as i said we have a good first 11 nothing more, we really needed to push the boat out for another striker and centre midfielder but dont think we were ever really in for anyone we were capable of signing
