Ffs. Ya haven't even got a clue about him. He could be a right sided version of Baines.

Bet ye were also moaning when we signed a key player from Milwall (Cahill) or Sheff Utd (Jags) or Gibson etc etc. Unbearable _fookin moaners

    Exactly beano....
Barnsley fans are raving about this kid, and Moyes can spot a player better than most.....as I said earlier, Hibbert & Neville are all but finished, and Coleman isn't the best right back....3m is cheap for potentialy a really good right back

Hello, or how do?-  as we say around here.

I can understand why John Stones has escaped most premier league fans radar but luckily for you lot, not your manager's. Do not be fooled by our lowly league position, as you are about to buy arguably the finest young defender in England. Not simply a right back, but an incredibly gifted, natural footballer who has occupied all right sided defensive roles for us this season and has recently been flourishing as a wing back in a 3-5-2 formation, as our form has turned under new manager David Flitcroft.

We are distraught he is leaving us so soon. A local lad, who loves the club,  level headed, a bit shy and just lives to play football - you couldn't ask for a more well adjusted youngster. He will play for England, have no doubt about that.

We are gutted, but Everton is a great club with a great manager and he will develop into a great player there.

It would be wise to loan him back for the rest of the season and get working with him properly next pre-season. The gradual adjustment would suit him.

Well good luck. He's one of our own, so look after him or we'll be round!

I know. We were all excited about the probability of BK signing a key player from Milan. I was hoping for Muntari or Robinho like.

I'm inconsolable! We can't keep a good un for more than half a season, our academy is packed with talented kids n'all.

Aye, we think the world of him. Smashing lad. We're proud of him and he's gone to a great club, I hope Jags and Baines take him under their wing, he'll learn a lot

    He's one our own
    He's one our own
    John Stones of Barnsley
    He's one our own

Have a great season you lot!
