Can you sign a player without them having a medical?

    yes and no.

    paper work can be faxed and a deal can be agreed pending medical so yes a player can sign before medical

    If you sign a player without the medical then you'll be taking a bit of a risk and the contract and be faxed, signed and then sent back via fax

    don't think you can do that any more. I think they changed the rules

    the deal can be done pending medical ie team purchasing can still pull out if not satisfied with medical
