yes mate i did. managed to get home about 1, but **** me, what a pain in the a_rse that road is at the best of times. -

i didnt do too bad then mate, set off from the car park at 10pm, got home at 12.55.....that time of night would usually take me 2 hours....maybe 2h15.....the way over was a pain in the **** too, took me over 3 and half hours....damn good job we won!! -
Posts: 3,003January 31 i left home early so going over weren't too bad apart from the weather...left the pub about 11 and got home at 1.35(just for OGV) or just after...
friggion nightmare nowadays used to take me an hour and aqaurter..now 50 mile an hour all the way practicably....on the way over hit a traffic jam between manchester and lpool all because a broken down van was being loaded onto a AA wagon FFS !! -
