exactly, thats why an injury becomes an excuse for pay as you play deals, proper_bollocks like
he's played loads since the injury, looks a really good prospect and imo, 8.5 million would be a good deal compared to other transfer deals we hear about like -

then after a medical, we find a recent, stressed, RECENT, injury and this means that the transfer offer changes and goes into installments
