    there have been plenty of good players we could have gone for with a pre-contract offer. Holtby, Gouffran, Sissoko.

    Are things that tight we can't afford a free player's wages?

    lol been thinking the same thing with these players. All were in last 6 months of contract so surely worth the outlay with the knowledge we should be able to improve the squad or at least have saleable assets for the future. Surely these 3 could of been ours and we could of sold gueye and heitinga to recoup some money to!!!! Something obviously ain't right behind the scenes to of not approached 1 of them?
