Hands up... who genuinely gives a toss about their post count?

    If people post a lot... they post a lot... because its what they do... 

    I doubt that people consciously decide to post just to increase their post count...

    What is it that makes some people uncomfortable about other people's post counts?

    Happily have the post counter turned off tbh....

    Posting on a forum, or talking to some one in person, if you enjoy interaction with people, does it matter how much you talk or how much you post?? Because surely its the same thing? I don;t know anyone i speak to during the course of a day week, month etc, tun round and make a point of how much i talk, so why should somebody do it on the internet because of how much you post?
