    Unique record

    Mythical metal plate

3 or 4 goals, several games on the bounce.

    Question shouldn't be 'Is He'

    More like 'Why is He'?

Cheers Idi, just found this quote which is pure class.

“There was nothing like silencing the Kop. When you stuck a goal in there, it all went quiet, apart from a bit of choice language aimed in your direction. Scoring there was a delight to me. I just used to turn round to the crowd and bow three times to them.” - Dixie Dean

He crashed his motorbike and the club doctor thought that his football career would be over, he returned 15 weeks later and that seson (1927/28) he scored a record 60 goals in 39 games, 63 in 42 games counting the F.A cup
