Would Moyes genuinely be tempted by Chelsea?

Disagree, I think Moyes would go for it... I would even drive him down myself...

Then we can get Mcateer and Barnes in

No striker of any note to ruin at Chelsea Torres is already spent, better to have Fergies job and RVP on the left wing!

Here you go KM, i think Martin Samuel has had a go at answering your question, it's worth reading his full article first then his response to questions especially one to the Liverpool fan who actually names himself "Bloonhead"

Kinda feels like formula one... or any motorsports... the battle between manufacturer and racer... can't remember a top racer turning down a top manufacturer when it came down to it...

a career can be spent doing well with little criticism... but we rarely remember anyone but winners...

why would anyone go Chels? They'll only be down the job centre in a few months.

no pressure now... with so many failures... you could go there... achieve nothing... blame the owner for signing the wrong players... and walk into another job... or retire with the cash...

suceed and you're sorted... because like it or not... di matteo is a champions league winning manager...

he's only young for a manager so it's safe to say he has no plans for retirement. Also there's no good jobs going so he has the option of taking what he can get or waiting for something and fear doing a Curbishley.

You don't settle for Chelsea. You get there and you hold on for dear life.

Avram Grant should of would the CL but Terry fell over his own feet and now he's at Partizan Belgrade and I had to Wiki him to find that out.

yes... but I would suggest that the circumstances are different now... and moyes has a better rep than avram... back then people thought roman was mad for recruiting a nobody... and didnt really think his dismissal was that bad... but since then theyve appointed "better" managers who have be summarily dismissed... so Moyes who has a great name is hired... doesn't get to sign the players he wants... wins summit or goes damn close... gets sacked... he's minted... and someone in the prem will have him...
