LET ME STOP YOU THERE.Millions of people have just seen this advert, if the people that have done this havn't been picked up by the police OR the NSPCC are thinking about sending this poor baby back to the people that have done it, then THERE ISN'T ANYTHING that could stop this happening again.What's wrong with these people? The baby is safe now, he survived, and he can be sent to a loving home that will treat him better. Nothing like using propaganda, and not only that, but a defense child as propaganda by THREATENING the watching public to basically send him back to where he has just came from if we don;t give 2 quid a month!!UNBELIEVABLE society we live in.

What I want to know is what have the polar bears ever done for me?

Asking people for donations to combat child abuse is like trying to stick your finger in the dam once it has overflowed. It's endemic. Probably one of our greatest challenges. Not a subject I can joke about. If Jimmy has been doing it since the 60's......God knows how many more kids we have yet to hear from who have been abused by people they trusted.
And in fairness I agree with the poster to a certain degree. Why should we all be asked to pay for children whose parents are numpties and can't look after them? But then, the children didn't choose their parents either.....& therein lies the problem. The system is overloaded & needs help/money which obviously the government is not willing or able to subsidise.
The blame lies fairly & squarely with the parents. But someone has to look out for the kids for whom their own parents refuse to be responsible.
Or do we all just beary (sorry) our heads in the sand?
