    Watched this lad play tnight vs Real Madrid and despite Valencia losing the game 2-0, he was a real stand out and dominated a star studded real madrid midfield.

    Was meant to join us a couple of years ago but the deal fell through due to visa issues.

    Reminded me alot today of Arteta when he was at his best for us, Brilliant vision and creative play maker.

    Think we could get him on the cheap, especially if we lose fellani.

    Was also impressed with Pablo Piatti, a little light weight but simular to a pineaar/ osman player.

    Just mentioned to my gf's father and brother watching the game, that Ever Banega was linked to our club a couple years ago. Only saw a glimpse of his game though.

    Hasn't this lad had a few discipline issues that put Moyes off him?


    Got player but a loose cannon from what i remember reading at the time

    think that's why teams (except QPR,they will take anyone) are dubious with this Yann M'Vila lad too smigs.....seems like a bit of a loose cannon...

    To be fair Fellani was a loose cannon when he first came to goodison as was Big Duncs but both are everton legends now.
    Except for Peaanuts,baines and Mirrallis i dont think we have too many creative playmakers.

    Banega wouldnt cost anymore than 6mill, and he works his socks off every game forward and defence.

    Think your right on that mate, have you seen that Redknapp has been chatting his usual crap though, Remy is actually a £20 million, M'Vila is actually worth £26 million so he is getting these amazing players in for next to nothing, no risk obviously!

    Southampton then Portsmouth will QPR complete his hat-trick of ruined clubs (although Hughes helped him with this shower)
