I had to take my iphone in to one of their stores with what sounded like a minor speaker issue that I'd put up with for ages.
To be fair I thought they would try and avoid replacing the whole phone. After being dicked about in the EE shop, who my contract is with, it was evident that they had no clue what to do, I went to apple.
Made an appointment, was seen by a guy who really understood what he was doing.... reinstalled the software, didn't fix the issue... used an app to see if the problem was in part of the phone he could replace in store.... the issue didn't repeat itself meaning there was a fault somewhere deeper into the phone.... before I could work out what he was going to do next he'd opened a draw in the wall next to him which I didn't even know was a draw and pulled out a new Iphone, exchanged my sim into it and we were done.
I left the store feeling like I'd just suddenly and unexpectedly had great customer service enforced upon me. It was a very unfamiliar feeling indeed. But I liked it.

HAHAHAHA, I have knee length riding boots and breeches too. I also own a Barbour flat cap but have refrained from wearing it thus far. You fancy coming up for a real ale and gourmet pub lunch? -
