....was just reading the bbc website, Di Canio talking about sportsmanship and Suarez's lack of it.....has a link on it going back to that game where Di Canio catch the ball when our keeper went down injured instead of scoring...

That was in 2000.... over the next two years Walter Smith would add Ginola, Gascoigne and others before Moyes took over... take a look at the team and subs bench that played that day:

    Everton: Gerrard, Steve Watson,
Weir, Hughes, Pembridge, Ball, Naysmith, Gravesen, Gemmill, Cadamarteri,
Campbell. Subs: Unsworth, Alexandersson, Simonsen, Moore, Tal.

they had their moments right enough.... but Moyes has done an excellent job has he not, compared to the players we now have.

I'm looking forward to the next team he builds.... with the fellaini money. Lets face it, he is going this summer or next.

Sad as it is.... Moyes spending money is such a rare treat!

I agree with all that mate. We def have come along way, but we need that bit more (most likely fellaini money) to go that bit further imo.

    Because you make poor bait.

You'd say 50 million the pair then.... Imagine what Moyes could do with 50 million.

50 mil on moyes 10 year contract? Creedy Gunt.

& then moanes we've got no money.

Is he the 5th best manager in europe?

Snooze you lose.Complacency is the mother of all disasters.

We were that bad in the 90s that we now accept mediocraty as the sum of all success.

Money or not, history tells no lies.Besides wars, its the longest spell in the clubs history without a trophy, simples.

Can't see any answer but a total clear out of all concerned & a fresh outlook from an independant viewpoint.Ideologically.IMO.
