I honestly 100% believe he will sign the new contract though mate.

If he were to go though, what's to say somebody wont come
in and do a better job than what he is doing with what he has? Its not
beyond the realms of comprehension.....think we will both agree, however
it were to come and who ever was the manager, we just want a trophy?

I wouldn't mind Martinez hes done well at Wigan just to keep them up  because they are a mid table champ club at best.

And I was lucky enough to be at our last fa cup win in 95 with me arl fella I feel sorry for the kids who see beating liverpool once every blue moon as a major achievement

getting into europe is our major acievment, we`ve missed out narowly last couple of years but the facts are you have to be super rich to get in there unless you feel we should have superiority over arsenal or chelsea we do quite well

Sounds like I joined this fanbase at a great time for a rollercoaster ride.  Hell, I can't imagine losing Fellaini and what it would do to the fanbase.  How many stars in the past left in their prime, besides Rooney, and do the fans ever speak with their pocketbooks and refuse to buy tickets to prove a point?  And then someone said probably lose both Fellaini and Baines?  Sounds like a lot of losing to me in the future.

tbf Scott, you have a valid point, but it has been put over too sensibly by you to make any sense to me ;)

There has to be a reason why he hasn't signed a new one.I think he may even go at the end of this window if Bill pulls an arteta out the hat on either of Baines or Fellaini.

    -----------------

Had he come to the end of his last contract before he signed the one he is on now. I think he was very near it if not at the end of it.

that doesn't necessarily mean the same set of circumstances are happening now though I hope he does but theres massive risk he may well do one did he say he'd like to work in germany before signing the last one?

No but he did talk about managing in Scotland in the future before he signed the lst contract. And he's basically said he'd like to manage in Germany in the future this time around too.

After that, back then, he was linked with the celtic job I think.... and now the schalke job.... so if there is a pattern then he'll sign a very big contract with Everton soon.

If being linked with Celtic gets you 75k a week. Just imagine what being linked with Schalke04 gets you!

Their only 2 home games against SPL opposition this season (versus Motherwell and Inverness in the leage cup) didn't even attract 30K. Fact!
