Think up until the last 10 years though Tone, the fans have had 15 years of hanging on in the prem (granted one fa cup win) and basically making up the numbers, so the last 10 years of being a solid prem league team has been a god send.....But, i think now, it is getting to the point where the fans think we should be stepping up another level and/or winning something, whether thats the board or the manager that can deliver that god only knows.....as we have had chances to win either the fa/or league cup and failed at the last or last hurdle.......

we haven't got the 2 or 3 stand out game changing players the likes of man u , chelsea, city and even liverpool have when it comes to the crunch for winning trophies look at the redshite under dalglish utter turds and he still won a cup the fact is under kenshite and co we will always be the bridesmaids and looks like moyes has had enough and I don't blame him maybe a taste of relegation dog fights is what 80% of evertonians need to realise what a prized gang of_cunts this board is

Tonyd, I don't think the Everton fans have no ambition, otherwise would we turn out 30.000 each home game and a few thousand away. It is the club who don't want to sell that is the trouble.

But Dalglish did......thats what im meaning mate.

i do agree, we are 2 or 3 really good quality players from challenging for top 3. But that means more wages aswell etc, its a fine balance to break even unless somebody wants to throw money at us.....

If he had 25m to spend, i think we would have a better team, would we be a better team if Fellaini were sold for 25m and he spent it ALL on 3 quality operators? I'm inclined to think so.

If we sold Fellaini for 25 and he spent it all and we were a better team for it, would it be partly down to the board because they stumped up for fellaini to start with??

There's plenty of ifs and buts mate. I do think though, its got to the point where he NEEDS to win something, for the club and for his own career. If it hasnt happened by now, and we don't have a bad team really, has it got to the point where a freshen up on the management side of things MIGHT make a difference.

And no, i wouldn't be happy if he left. We have had 10 years of being a solid team. But we do need to move up a level or it COULD go stale.

He hasnt got 25 million to spend because the board lets him spend every 3 years and everyone sits back and lets it happen evertonians like tht tonytony beaut have no ambition these are the supporters who sing every game about liverpool even though we aren't playing them they class finishing above them as good as a trophy.

And there are no ifs and buts theres a fact and thats moyes contract ends in 5 odd months and its more than likely he will be off/ I hope he does to give a percentage of this thick fan base a wake up call.

For what it is worth I think he'll stay.... but I think Fellaini will be sold and maybe Baines too. Moyes will invest a big lump of that in the next fellaini....and spend good money on some top younger players who aren't pre recognised as future stars like fellaini was.

I honestly 100% believe he will sign the new contract though mate.

If he were to go though, what's to say somebody wont come in and do a better job than what he is doing with what he has? Its not beyond the realms of comprehension.....think we will both agree, however it were to come and who ever was the manager, we just want a trophy?

Didn't he let the last one go to the wire before signing the new one. Its just how he works, he's scottish, he'll get every penny out of the old one first! Hopefully use his position with the board to his advantage too, before signing another one.

Wasn't that what he did last time round?

There has to be a reason why he hasn't signed a new one.I think he may even go at the end of this window if Bill pulls an arteta out the hat on either of Baines or Fellaini.
