I know he's possibly our best player, but should we rest him saturday against swansea (oviedo & distin can both do a decent job there).....Moyes kept playing him last season, and eventually we lost him for over a month, can't afford that this year......he looked pretty banged up sitting on the bench last night....

Yes i'd defo rest him if he's a concern, not worth risking him in the long run, Oveido could do a job for that game, maybe thats another reason why we need someone like Forren, CB who can play on the left and good for squad rotation as we push for the top 4/5 and an FA cup lol

No chance they are too dangerous, we need our best 11, i would say Pienaar was rested with half an eye toward saturday.

if moyes had any intention of resting him he wouldnt of been starting last night, moyes knows how crucial he is to us. its a risk but one we got to take

If hes fit then do NOT rest him. There is no such thing as a certain win in the league these days and we have to play our strongest 11 and make sure we get a vital 3 points. Swansea @ home is the exact type of game I dread

well they beat arsenal away, no mugs these a good footballing side, we need to play the way we played at there place, altho we won 3-0 wasnt so easy and the sending off helped us, they created a lot of chances like we did, gonna be a good game i think

We whacked them away last season aswell but was still tight at Goodison, only just edged it. We are kind of their bogy team but theyre still well worthy of beating us if we listen to **** and play a weakened team

Oh i know, and a win against swansea is as good as a win against man utd.....just worried we may end up losing him for 5 or 6 games instead of just taking him out for 1 game and letting his ankle injury clear up.....
had we taken our time with Mirallas and left him out for another game or 2, maybe we wouldn't have lost him for so many games now......
